Natural jute rope is made from 100% natural high quality organic jute fibres. The jute fibres are first spun into thin yarns which are twisted together to form strands. Three of these strands are then twisted back in the opposite direction to form the rope. This is called ‘cabling’.
These quality three strand natural jute ropes are available in diameters of 5mm to 10mm from Everlasto. Being made from the natural fibres from plants in the genus Corchorus, it compliments planting and timber work perfectly and is ideal for outdoor use.
Jute is in great demand due to the softness, length, lustre and uniformity of its fibre. It is also known as the ‘golden fibre’ due to its versatile nature.
